P3 Group Expands in Brazil and Canada

International Engineering Services Company Helps Latin American and Canadian Telecom Players Optimize Service Performance

DS1_Davpart_4736-2MORRISTOWN, N.J. (April 27, 2016) With the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil only months away, and consumer demand for mobile data steadily rising throughout Canada, P3 group, a leading global consulting, management and engineering services company, today announced it is expanding its reach with new offices in Sao Paulo and the Greater Toronto area.

The new Sao Paulo office, located in the Sao Jose dos Campos area, will support exploding growth in Brazil’s R$234 billion telecommunications market. It will be staffed by experienced device, network and application engineers who conduct functional and performance tests of wireless devices from development to launch. They will join a team of P3 Group engineers and consultants, led by Managing Director Erick Monfrinatti Cogliandro, already providing solutions to some of Latin America’s biggest aircraft and automotive manufactures.

“We’re all about solving deep technical problems for our customers,” said Dirk Bernhardt, CEO of P3 communications, Inc. “Sao Paulo is one of the leading technology and research centers in Latin America and an important hub for serving all of Brazil. With the Summer Olympic Games only months away, Brazil’s mobile network operators are challenged to prepare for the onslaught of athletes, organizers and media who will expect reliable connections and 4G speeds.”

The Toronto area office, located at 1450 Meyerside Drive, in Mississauga, will serve the growing testing and network optimization needs of Canada’s mobile carriers and device manufacturers, as well as device testing and network roaming measurement for major U.S. carriers, OEMs and chipset suppliers. The expanded 3,500 square foot office is home to 14 experienced engineers who travel extensively throughout Canada in specialized test vehicles, and on foot in key business and public venues, to evaluate device function, service quality and usability from the end user’s perspective.

The Mississauga facility complements P3’s Montreal office, established in 2008 to serve the area’s aerospace market. Today that location employs more than 50 aerospace engineers specializing in system and structural design, advanced aerodynamics, cabin design, manufacturing engineering and certification. As a strategic supplier to the industry’s OEM and Tier 1 suppliers, P3 has played a significant role in bringing some of the major development programs to market.

P3 has more than a decade of experience in testing wireless devices, network quality and service performance around the globe, and is recognized worldwide as the neutral authority on network quality.

In addition to Sao Paulo, Mississauga and Montreal, P3 office hubs in the Americas include Morristown, N.J.; Dallas, Texas; Detroit, Mich.; Greenville, S.C.; Los Angeles and San Jose, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Seattle, Wash.; and Mexico City. At all office locations, P3 provides its full portfolio of services. The company has provided consulting, engineering and testing services for major U.S. carriers since 2007, served Canadian mobile operators since 2013, and expanded into Latin America in 2015.

“We continue to grow at a rapid pace and are excited about expanding our Latin American and Canadian teams,” Bernhardt said. “These areas present tremendous opportunities to grow our footprint as we move toward an integrated service portfolio serving the telecommunications, aerospace, automotive and energy industries. This diversity has been a key differentiator for P3, and will continue to be a big part of our strategy moving forward. We are strategically positioned for success and look forward to continued growth throughout the Americas.”

P3’s communications division provides a broad portfolio of independent technical and management consulting services including network planning, engineering, end-to-end optimization, market intelligence, security, QoS and QoE testing, international benchmarking, device testing and acceptance services. In addition to wireless carriers and device manufacturers, P3’s clients include infrastructure vendors, public safety organizations and regulatory authorities.
