QuEST Forum Announces Second Annual Global Sustainability Awards Winners

DALLAS, TX (June 6. 2016) — QuEST Forum, a global organization dedicated to quality and sustainability in the ICT community, named today the winners of its Second Annual Global Sustainability Awards. This honor recognizes organizations achieving excellence and showcasing energy, passion and innovation in corporate sustainability.

QuEST Forum is actively involved in issues related to sustainability and looks to its members to take leadership roles in sustainable practices. QuEST Forum created the Sustainability Awards to promote, encourage and honor the efforts of those serving as leaders in the field of Sustainability. Entrants in the competition measured their performance against the QuEST Forum model to demonstrate their progress to date. The winning companies were honored during a reception and ceremony on Tuesday evening at a VIP Dinner hosted by The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) during their Network of the Future Conference in Dallas, TX.

The winners of the 2016 QuEST Forum Global Sustainability Awards are:

  • BEST OVERALL PERFORMANCE AWARD: Sector Supply

Sector Supply operates within a mature companywide quality management system designed and implemented to conform to the highest industry standards, including ISO 9001:2008, TL 9000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.   • MOST IMPROVED AWARD: Argent Associates

Argent Associates, founded in 1998, is a company focused on new technology, reselling and distribution services. Within the last 18 years, it has evolved from a Value-Added Reseller to a multi-division company providing engineering, technology development, sustainability, and cloud based solutions. With over 30 global organizations now participating in the QuEST Forum Sustainability Initiative (SI), QuEST Forum wanted to give organizations an opportunity to be publicly recognized and rewarded as leaders in corporate sustainability. Fraser Pajak, CEO of QuEST Forum said, “Only in its second year, participation in the QuEST Forum Global Sustainability Awards has really taken off. I was truly impressed by the number of submissions we received. There were so many examples of companies doing exemplary work in the area of sustainability. QuEST Forum’s Sustainability Initiative is open to all companies in ICT, and has no cost requirements to participate.
