The Small Business Initiative welcomes new leadership for 2017. The group will now be under the guidance of Barbara Wichmann, CEO and founder of ARTÉMIA Communications, Inc., a global, full-service strategic communications and digital marketing agency headquartered in San Francisco.
Barbara is an industry-leading communications expert, and an alumnus of the AT&T Growth Acceleration Program at JFK University (2016), CVS Health Executive Training, Tuck (Dartmouth) and UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Executive MBE Programs. Additionally, she holds a BA (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) and an MA (USA). She was named a 2014 WBENC “Star” and currently serves as the Astra Chair for the Northern California region. She is an advocate for small business and a contributing columnist on sustainability for MBE Magazine.

We generally meet the third Friday of each month at 11 am CST for approximately 60 minutes to discuss various topics with the goal of providing solutions for issues that small businesses face.
We share best practices, encourage small businesses to share their stories and investigate ways for small businesses to collaborate together to offer full scale solutions to their customers.
