Mr. Mehiar Qaoud is heading the Quality and Process Management unit in du’s commercial department. Mehiar brings over 13 years of technical, business and quality management experience in Telecom and other industrial sectors. He previously held numerous senior management positions at CNBC, Tecom, and EITC. He is the first TL9000 expert in the Middle East and was behind the first TL9000 QMS certification in the Middle East. Mehiar has pushed the needle for quality and customer experience in the local region, having received various awards and recognition in this field. He is a proven leader with a passion for innovation, excellence, governance and customer experience.
In addition to his work in du, Mehiar is a key member in the Dubai excellence and competitiveness committee, customer experience program and a chair member in the happiness committee. His passion towards social responsibility was behind his involvement in managing several wellness and fitness initiatives within Dubai. Mehiar holds several qualifications in business excellence (EFQM), QMS and project management. He holds an MBA from the American university in Dubai, and a Bsc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.
