IGQ Work Group

The charter of the Integrated Global Quality (IGQ) Work Group is to harmonize global industry quality system requirements and measurements. It ensures that the TL 9000 Handbooks are steadily evolving and keeping pace with changes in the industry for products, solutions, technology, services, and supply chain.  All QuEST Forum members are eligible to participate – click here to join the IGQ Work Group.

2016 Accomplishments

2017 Initiatives

  • Published the TL 9000:2016 (R6) Requirements Handbook as the first industry standard to incorporate the ISO 9001:2015 requirements
  • Approved Incident Restore Rate (IRR) as a new measurement per the addendum process and approved modifications to the existing Software Fix Quality (SFQ) measure
  • Published Product Category Table release Version 5.4
  • Conducted a Post Project Analysis of the TL 9000:2016 (R6) Requirements Handbook to improve the handbook release process
  • Participated in the design of the TL 9000 Roadmap to drive long-term value and agility to TL 9000
  • Publish TL 9000 Measurements
  • Handbook 5.5 and TL 9000 Requirements Handbook 6.1, in support of the TL 9000 Roadmap, dependent upon content
  • Develop new measurements with input from IGQ sub-teams, along with QuEST Forum regional teams and Strategic Initiatives, for possible Measurements Handbook updates in support of the TL 9000 Roadmap
  • Continue to support the TL 9000 Roadmap to meet evolving ICT industry needs
  • Support QuEST Forum’s 2020 Vision strategic goals
