Masahiro Shimbashi has 35 years’ experience of the Telecom Industry in Fujitsu after graduation from Ibaraki University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering in 1981. And whole period he has been involved in engineering of transmission system and has developed several optical transport products such as SONET and ROADM systems for global telecom market. From 2006 through 2007, he was assigned Senior Vice President, Engineering in Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. (FNC) in Richardson, TX as assignee to strengthen the collaboration between Fujitsu & FNC for the co-development of brand-new product.
Since 2013, he has moved to new responsibility to manage the overall process of development, quality and production as Senior Director. He started attending QuEST Forum meetings from the latter half of 2015 replacing Mr. Satoshi Ikeuchi who retired from Fujitsu. He is also Japan Hub Co-Chair from January 2016.
